Wood Fired Air Heater

Wood Fired Air Heater are arranged at downstream of the economizer as the last heat recovery section. These are recuperative type heaters with fuel gas flowing inside the tubes and the combustion air flowing over the tubes. In vertical direction the air heater should be arranged in the tube. On both ends, the tubes required for staying purpose should be expanded/welded into the tube sheets.
